Hi, I have a 14mth old Hotpoint Aquarius + washer dryer WD645 and WD640. I think something became dislodged during a move and now everytime I try to do a load of washing it displays 'test' spinning the bowl around without adding any water or washing the clothes. I had it repaired and it still does it. Can anyone please help me?
After pressing different buttons and waiting 10 to 15 seconds after turning the power off, I have finally found the solution.
When you have pressed the "Start/Cancel" button to start your wash programme the LCD shows "test".
You must then press the "Start/Cancel" button which will give you the normal temperature and washing time and then importantly you must depress both the "Start/Cancel" button with the "On/Off" button which will give you a different LCD message and then it will automatically resets itself.

My machine is about three years old , i moved it about two years ago when i moved house and suddenly it has also displayed 'test' for every setting
