It is because your computer which is windows xp is not able to be updated to windows seven. And when you format it you will loose everything xp. But then you can put everything windows seven on it.
new version of windows seven will not support the old software.. moreover windows seven will not support the PC suite software of your mobile. kindly install windows xp and try it.. your problem will be solved..
Running XP? Boot the PC in safe mode (hit F8 key while PC is booting up and select safe mode), then set the video resoltuion to 640 x 480, reboot into regular boot up, reset the video resolution to 1280 x 1024 @ 60Hz.
In Xp right click on the desktop and select Properties->Settings->Resolution. Here you will get all the options that the combination of your display adapter and monitor can take. select any that you want and Windows will show to the new resolution and ask you if you like it. Accept if you like it else Cancel it and select one lower or higher till you are satisfied. Go up one notch at a time.
goto cotrol panel click on system icon, click hardware tab, click device manager button, If anything is listed to the left of the devices except for the "+" sign,(an exclamation, yellow triangle..)
that driver need to be reinstalled, look for the one that says display adapter and check it.
If needed goto your PC manufacturers website and click on "support and drivers" or "Downloads and enter your model number of PC, then OS(winXP) and it will list the available drivers for your PC.
