Ps3 goes to black screen then to normal

It could be as simple as your video cable going bad. Check to make sure the wire is in good shape and that the contacts and connections are secure.

I would say try using it with an HDMI cable (if possible) and see if the problem persists. You can also try and hook up another device (DVD player, camera, PS2, etc) to the TV input you are using now and see if it is the TV that is giving you trouble.

Hi! My mother gave me an Insignia HDMI TV, and I can't figure out how to hook either my Wii console or Sony DVD player to the TV. I transfered all of the audio/visual cables from the old TV to the new TV...

Hey there!
Is there a button on the set or remote that says "input" or "source"? That will change the input settings from cable, to HDMI or RCA (aux).

Im trying to hook my insignia d400 to my jvc hd tv i have a vga cable that converts to rca cables and s-video cable and nothing shows up on tv

Does your TV not have a PC connection? It looks like and IS the same as the Connection on your PC. If so, get a standard VGA male to male VGA connector cable from your local PC shop and use this. The adaptors you are using won't be seen as PC input. You will need to also connect a PC audio cable between them to get sound. When you have installed these, using your remote control, select "scource" as PC and you should be away! Good luck. Ian.

Insignia LCD TV won't recognize computer input...

Heres the dealyo.
Click start button
Click control panel
Click display
Click settings
adjust screen resolution (probably have to go down) until the tv displays your computer
if this did not work, you will have to adjust bit rate from 32 to 16. Fiddle with the settings until the magic happens.
You will not get any sound unless you use an audio jack plugged into t.v.

Im here all week

Trying to get ps2 to play on new tv..

USE a VCR between the PS2 and the Sylvania TV.  Hook the PS2 A/V cable RCA connectors( Red, Yellow, White) to one of the the Video input RCA connectors( Yellow, Red, White) on the VCR. Hook the VCR Cable output to your Sylvania Cable input. Set the Sylvania Tv to channel 3 or 4.  Set the VCR channel to Line 1 or Line 2.  This should work. I hope it helps you.

Lcd montior with tv box but no hdmi sound

in some cases certain manufacturers say in the instructions that when using s video with seperate audio, you cannot use the HDMI for the sound and sometimes visa versa, it's just the way the output is set up. Remove the other sound cable you are using for pc or tv and just use HDMI to confirm that the sound is re-enabled on the HDMI

Problems with screen

problam can be with cable, screen, or xbox. try replacing cable first, it is the cheapest and therefore can save you alot of pain. if another cable doesnt solve it, try hooking xbox with another screem (TV or something), if it works, its a screen problem - check for overheating. if it doesnt, you got yourself a messed xbox im afraid.
