Hi, I am trying to upload photos from my Fujifilm Z20. I've not had any problems before but for some reason it now no longer works. When I disconnect the usb it recognises this with the usual "bleep" but when I reconnect it makes a different sound than usual? I've looked at "My computer" but it doesn't show the camera there. Please help...Thank you...Glenn

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

You can go to this website and download the files you need in your computer in order to download the pictures.

The camera comes with a CD, If you don't have this photo share softwares in your computer, you won't be able to download. Also you can take your camera xd or sd card to a store with photo service and have your pictures on a CD. From the CD you can download to the computer.

Hi, I have had my camera for two years however for some reason it is not uploading to my computer.

Hi, I've found the L18 was always finicky with transferring photos, your best bet would be to get a usb card reader and put the SD card into that to transfer the photos.

My Dimage Z20 can't upload photos onto my computer anymore. It used to show up as a drive on "My Computer", now it doesn't. Is this a problem with power cord? Camera works fine.

It could be - or it could be a problem with the PC.
Connect the camera to the pc, go into device manager (right+click on My Computer> down to Device Manager) and see if it is registering a problem.
Delete the camera from device manager (highlight it, press DEL), disconnect the camera from the PC. Power cycle the camera, then connect it back up - you should see the computer finding the camera again.
If not, check a different computer or buy a new cable,

Have a fujifilm finepix Z20. What do the signs on

You can download the camera's manual here; http://www.fujifilm.ca/x617.xml?XID=x15936
Those dials/buttons set the various camera functions, such; zoom, flash, image quality, playback etc. The manual will give you all the information you'll need to set and use your Z20.

My computer doesn't detect my finepix s602zoom

I have not had this problem, but I always use a card reader to upload my photos.
It saves on wear and tear on the small usb socket on the side of the camera. I can't see any reason to use a cable if all I need is to upload photos.
