The slow-blow white fuse is located nearest the point of where the power cord of the tv first contacts the power supply (middle-board, usually)

However, I would suspect the backlight inverter is faulty:

I would try to look on the power supply first for popped capacitors that supply the 24v rail for the backlight inverter.

Having sound is a positive when it comes to repair. This means that only your screen is not lighting.

If you repair the 24v line and check the 5v feed also going to the ps_on (on) the backlight inverter and you still have no picture...you will need a new inverter.

My son has a 2005 S40 Volvo. About two weeks ago, his wipers stopped working as well as the windshield cleaner! I told him to check the fuses first, however, that model has a "relay fuse" and I...

Thank you for writing all the info needed and the problem to make it easy for me to help you, this problem may be a motor but as like you i dont think the washer and sensor and motor would go out, i have enclosed pictures of the fuse boxes you will need to check, this car has four of them, you will first check the fuse, theres a 30amp fuse located in the engine compartment, you will locate the fuse which controls the wiper module, if theres no power to this module nothing will work, check fuse at location F-17 this will be a 30amp fuse for the wiper module. the diagram will show you the fusebox location and the fuse location, the next place is behind glovebox theres another fuse/relay box, theres a picture of that box also, you will be looking for postion F-48this is the relay for the wipermotor, you will need to swap another relay with the wiper relay to test it.good day and hope this is helpful.johnjohn2_9.pngjohnjohn2_10.png

I just replaced fuel pump on my 99 pontiac grand

Anytime when there is multiple issues, I pick one system when the problem is ongoing, check voltage and ground.
The fuses in picture is for instrument cluster, Check for voltage at the fuses when problem is ongoing. Use a test lite. As you can see, one fuse is hot all the time, the other goes hot with the key on.

My turning signals wont work!!

It sounds to me that you have a flasher unit gone bad. It is located in most cases under the dash near the fuse box.

Heater does not blow out any air

There is a fuse panel under the dash on the driver's side and the maxi-fuse box is under the hood on the driver's side. If the fuses are good, it is probably the blower fan which is located under the dash on the passenger's side. (Behind the glove box.)
