The slow-blow white fuse is located nearest the point of where the power cord of the tv first contacts the power supply (middle-board, usually)
However, I would suspect the backlight inverter is faulty:
I would try to look on the power supply first for popped capacitors that supply the 24v rail for the backlight inverter.
Having sound is a positive when it comes to repair. This means that only your screen is not lighting.
If you repair the 24v line and check the 5v feed also going to the ps_on (on) the backlight inverter and you still have no picture...you will need a new inverter.
