My Samsung Media 5 player used to work fine. But recently I plugged in my player, and my songs dont show up thats on my player. Only the new 3 songs I put on, show up. I tried media player 10, and the same thing. Only the 3 songs I put on today show up on the list.
Anyone know why I can't see the songs I have on my player, in SM5?

Use Windows Media Player to put your songs on your Samsung.
Start Media Player, plug in your YP-K3 into the computer using your cord that came with the player. Media player will show your player, then just add your songs as you wish.
To Delete songs, pictures, ebooks, etc. Follow the directions below:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hook up your mp3 player to your computer Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer" When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there. Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible. Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release, right click and then click on "Delete" Now your mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want. Be careful and do not delete files needed to operate your MP3 player.

If you have windows media player then all you need to do is insert your YP-K3 into the computer then windows media player will show you a bunch of options for your MP3 click what ever suites you. Then rip the C.D to the windows media player. Then click and drag the songs if you want all of them click the first one press shift down on your keyboard then stop when you have all the songs you want then click and drag to the right hand side where it has your YP-K3
Download LimeWire or FrostWire (i prefer frost.) and download all the songs you want. Its very simple to use, so dont need to go into detail for that. Than (assuming you have a windows computer) open up 'Windows Media Player' and on the top tabs click 'Sync'.
Dont minimize, but make the FrostWire window small, but where you have all your downloaded music click/drag-able. highlight all songs/media pieces and drag them to the sync playlist on the right side of Windows Media Player. Click Start Sync and wait a bit.
That should solve your problem mredmarin. Let me know if it did!
Have a good day :)
First of all, this samsung mp3 player uses its own cable to connect to a computer, you have to use the cable included with your device or yo you can visit samsung .com and checkon ,mp3 player accesories to find the one compatible with your player and buy it. If you already have the cable, plug itinto your computer, you can now delete the songs on your mp3 player using your computer.
Not Sure!! BUT!.... when certain songs are downloaded...looking at the details for the song in you folders list.....under the tabs Album Artist etc names might be spelled slightly different....the MP3 player pics that up and makes random folders and such.....it cant organize them...even if you change the files name......check it out....you'll see what I mean....hope this helps...........FYI...pirated material...will usually do these random changes to the file names etc.....DONT PIRATE!!! =) hope I made sense and this helps
