In my computer i have Ati radeon 4600... when i search on internet i can only find ari radeon 4650.. i think that number 4600 mean only series 4600...so im not shure when i look at specifications on computer it says ati radeon 4600..anyway i want to upgrade my computer with another graphics card...so that second need to be same like the first or what? can i put another card taht will work together like one? like i just put in ati radeon 4650 will it work with 4600? like i sad im not shure is 4600 exactly the name of my card or its just 4600 series.. thanks for help.. sorry for bad english im learning...

The graphic card will fit the mainboard, all graphic card with the AGP socket will fit, there is no limit here.

When adding a bigger graphic card, the power supply can be too small for the system.
I would suggest a 400 watt psu or bigger, for a smooth running system.
A more expensive graphic card is always better, depending what you have to use it fore.
More system memory (ram) can also help, if you intend to playing games.

1st remove the card and clean it out with compressed air,taking note that the fan is clean a free moving.

2nd After reinstalling card,update video drivers.

3rd While you have the case open check that all dust and dirt is cleaned out and all fans are working.

Sounds like your trying to download the wrong driver for your operating system. Double check that you're selecting the correct drivers for your operating system.

Download the updated driver from ati.com

If your motherboard has a PCI-E 2.0 slot then the HD 4600 will work to full capabilities, if it is PCI-E 1 then it should still work but it will not work as fast as it would using full ability. Hope this helps.

If the error message says "Cannot find any compatible Direct 3D devices" it means that you do not have a supported video on your system, and that you need to upgrade your video card.
