I have a ladies pulsar watch V220-5550 RO Serial number 600619. When was it made and what is the battery ID needed for it?

Just take it to a local jeweler. They have all the batteries and the tools to remove the back. The cost is $8 to $15 and done while you wait.

I can't open the back of my watch to put a battery into it

If you don't have the right tools don't even try - you'll risk damaging your nice watch. Instead, take it to a watch shop or jewelry store (Sears does it too) and let them do it with the right tools, correct battery and - very important - a new gasket to keep it water resistant. Cost for the battery replacement is about $8.

Enquire with either a Pulsar dealer or a watchmaker they may be able to get it for you. If you have a trade supplier near you they may also be able to order one if available.

Removing links to shorten watch for a ladies Wallmart watch brand is white stag #Ws50880w

I just removed links from one of the white stag watches today. The answer is in the link below.

http://www.watchmaterial.com/How_to_size_a_watch_band.asp

Friction pins are used to hold the links together. I used a jeweler's screwdriver and a small hammer to tap them out in the direction of the arrow. I put them back in the same way.

Pulsar watch band

I have a Pulsar watch and on the expandable band, the casing fell off and can't get it replaced unless we take off a link...To me this was too much trouble, time and expense...I won't buy another Pulsar! Too bad cause I thought it was a beautiful watch.
