Remove the toner cartridge, and inspect the lenses on the toner meter cycle (TMC) card.It is positioned on the right side of the toner cartridges
Are the lenses blocked, or dirty? Clean them
If damaged replace them

I have a lexmark c782 office printer that is showing a code of 942.05 service yellow tmc sensor what does this me

The error indicates either a defective yellow cartridge metering cycle or a sensor problem that usually requires service. But you can try replacing the yellow cartridge first. If problem continues, I recommend you contact Lexmark technical support or your authorized service provider for further assistance. Thanks.

Unable to get it connected

Is this the RDS-TMC?

Try resetting the navigator (using a paperclip in the reset hole in the bottom of the device). Then plug it in again and see if anything's changed. Remember that the antenna must be connected to power for it to work.

Are you seeing the vertical display on the right-hand side of the screen?

If the thing is constantly searching but never showing traffic updates, it's possible that you don't live in an area that has active RDS-TMC broadcasts.
