SOURCE: i have a flashing E:62:10

Hi Rajesh,

I have come across this problem earlier , and would seems as a weird thing to do but works, what you need to do , is remove the batteries and hit on the side of the camera with your palm and then try to put the batteries back in and then restart the camera , if that does not work , you need to get it done via the service center as this problem is associated with a gear of the lens and can be corrected by professional tools.

Hope that helps ...:)

SOURCE: Flash not working

this could be a number of problems first soloution gently hit the side of the camera where the battery is stored

if the dosent work try to pull and twist the lense gently

has the camera started to vibrate yet? and my other soloution would be

  1. ress Menu button
  2. togle across from REC Mode to setup
  3. togle down thrice from camera to setup 1
  4. togle across into sub menu
  5. togle down from four times to Initialize
  6. togle across again to the sub-menu
  7. togle up from cancel to OK
  8. press center button to accept the OK choice
  9. Screen changes and so press okay again
  10. It should restart the camera
  11. Opening on the 'Clock Set' screen
  12. togle down to cancel and use the camera and make sure that you have the camera to flash, if it works try again in the Auto function.
  13. If it is still not working do not worry follow the steps again two or three more times, As this is generally a software error message and not a hardware malfunction.
  14. If it is working then don't forget to set your Clock.

How do you remove the blur warning icon from the camera screen. Thanks

Welcome To FixYa.

Blur warning ussually appears in Suppressed flash mode. In this mode the flash does not fire even when the subjects is poorly lit. Blur warning will appear in the monitor at slow shutter speeds to warn that pictures may be blurred. Use of a tripod is recommended.

To view or hide other indicators on the screen/monitor you just have to click the DISP/BACK button.

I hope this information will help you on your issues regarding your camera.
Feel free to send us comments and suggestion if this information is helpful.

Thank you for using FixYa.

Canon ixus 65 - when taking a shot without the flash on, a red camera icon appears on screen and the shot is usually blurry. Why?

When hand-held shooting, shaking will cause blurry. So when the shutter speed below 1 / 60 second the vibration warning will appear, open the flash, up shutter speeds, vibration warning disappeared.

SONY CYBERSHOT DSC - H3 DIGITAL CAMERA FLASH PROBLEM

Hi Jim,
Have you tried resetting all settings on the camera? On a Sony camera, it is called "initialize". The initialize setting is found by going to the menu, and tabbing down until you find an option called either "reset settings" or "initialize settings" and then confirm it.
Many times that will fix the issue, in case something has either been enabled/disabled on accident, or the software is sticking (which happens from time to time)

Canon A 630 no flashing

Right now Canon's support section for their website is down.

What I'm looking for is to see if the flash was turned off by the control panel accidently. Most digital have a setting to turn it off.

Typically if the camera needs a flash and can't give you one you will get a warning message on the screen. If thats whats happening, then the sensor is working.

Sometimes weak batteries will cause the flash not to work because there may be enought current to run the screen and the shutter but not enough to run the flash at the same time. If you say the batteries are fine then that probably isn't the case.

If you have the book handy you might want to check the control panel settings and find the flash controls.

Flash

I am having the same problem. For this indicator, the manual states "Camera movement warning/flash charge". I'm guessing that the flash is no longer functioning. Note you can force the flash to OFF and camera will function without a flash.
