I have a BOSE soundock portable and I have to replace my connector at the end of the power supply.What is the size of the connector.

You want to plug the SoundDock into a 220 receptacle, is that correct, and the Soundock works off of 120v., correct. I tried to find the specs for the Bose SoundDock, i.e. its wattage rating but it seems that Bose does not publish these specs. At any rate a 220v to 120 v converter should work

The 300 watt converter listed above should work fine. Wahtever converter you use, make sure it operates at 60/50 hz.

Guys - she has the protable!! Hi Fiona, the best bet is to visit www.invebo.com and check the SounDock Portable diagnostic video. (Repair video is there too) Remove the battery and plug the power in., If you get a beep-beep sound then the unit has power and is booting up so you need a docking connector replacement kit. . If there is no beep beep then it is the power supply or the main unit. (Try a different power supply) . If it works normally then it is the battery - get a new battery. Hope that helps.

The click is the PSU shorted that can be caused by a fault n the sound processor. Invebo will repair it for you too.

Well with a dead battery it is always best to get it replaced. However, your docking station, or a wall charger, or computer, should all power on the ipod..
