Fisher and Paykel DishDrawer DS605FDSM Stainless Steel 23 in Builtin Dishwasher Logo

Question about Fisher and Paykel DishDrawer DS605FDSM Stainless Steel 23 in Builtin Dishwasher

1 Answer

Greetings. I have a Fisher & Paykel dishdrawer - the top drawer appears to have lost power mid cycle and the lid has not retracted - no led display - no response from the buttons. The bottom drawer functions ok. I have tried turning the power off at the wall for 30 seconds and on again. I have tried swapping the top and bottom controllers and the bottom still works but the top does not, so the controllers must be ok Not sure where to find the model number sorry. Any suggestions?

SOURCE: Fisher and Paykel dishdrawer, lid not retracting, no power.

By no power you may be implying there is no display etc and the swithces are not working. Most likely the controller of the top drawer has had it. The controller is mounted on the front of the drawer behind the door panel. Hope things are better than that.

Fischer and paykel dish drawer leaking

Replacing lid seals on the dishdrawer is not for the faint hearted.
In particular if you are replacing the lid actuator and motors that go with it.

Fisher paykel dishdrawer lid will not stay locked

Assuming this is happens with only one drawer - most likely controller is recongising some sensor problems. If the water inlet is faulty then it is waiting for water to get in. Alternatively, the sensor that tells it the drawer is closed suddenly misbehaves and confuses the controller which stops the cycle.

Fisher paykel dishdrawer

It is likely the top panel of the drawer needs cleaning.
First turn off the mains power to dishwasher and take the plug out if accessible. Wait a little and put the plug back and turn on the mains power. If this does not fix the problem, then get clean damp cloth and wipe the panel buttons on top inside of drawer.

The time on now shows 107 instead of 127 min. drawer Fisher & Pakel double

your dishdrawer is in ECO mode. Press the ECO button on the program panel on top of drawer lid. This should restore the Heavy wash time to 127min.

Fisher paykel dd24scx6 lid fault

This error is linked to the mechanisms that operate the lid seal of the drawer.

If the drawer feels hard when moving in and out, then the lid seal could be stuck in close position and the movement actuator motors may have lost power.
If there is no change in the situation after turning off the mains power and turning it back on, then there is a component failure linked to the lid seal.

Will need a technician to fix it if you are not very familiar with fixing electrical stuff. The lid seal actuator assembly is very complex. The easiest to fix is a failed power board under the drawer and the hardest is to replace the actuator motor if it has gone faulty.

Dishdrawer cannot open

the power board at the base of the dishwasher under bottom drawer appears to have blown up. Take the bottom drawer out carefully to access the power board. Make sure the mains power is turned off.

The reason the bottom drawer is not getting back in is that lid seal actuators are stuck as the motors are in close position. Will reset to normal position once the power is restored. So don't try to push the drawer in as the lid seal will be damaged.

Fisher Paykel double drawer built in top drawer stops mid cycle.

It would help to know which LEDS are on when it stops. Are you able to open the lid etc. Does this happen with the short rinse cycle as well?
