I have a RCA HD50LPW175 50 in. HDTV Television and it has sound but no picture i was trying to figure out wether it was just a blown out bulb or maybe the fuse inside might be blown. Im about to purchase a new projec tion bulb for $130.00 and before o do im wondering if that might definitely be the problem if someone could help it would be greatly appreciated.

your bulb is going out/ or the balast. and possibly the color boads on the inside as well. to figure out which it is take each one out on by one and turn it on. then try another till you determine which it is

This TV if the model # is D52W20 ,`Then it is Projection and has 3 Tubes Red / Green / Blue
these tubes Cost over $450.00 each problem will be in the Deflection Board/ it will be the bottom left hand side board that has the FBT flyback Transfomer on it.
Most common repair is 3 capaciotrs on the deflection board CP150 2200uf 16v use 25v, CP114,CP120 220uf 35v replace all 3 caps.

Check RCA it could be a manufacterers deffect, ask about recalls.

They are easy to intall; a screwdriver and 10 minutes.

I have a RCA 52inch D52w136D, the power button blinks three times, but nothing happens no picture or sound

have u put the tv on cable or on video for dvd? you might try switching those around

Ok. no U can hear the audio for the channels?... this set has no bulbs to replace. does it shut down. does the front green light flash. if u push menu on remote does anthing come up?
