looks like to me that you have generic drivers loaded if you get to my computer right click on it and go down to properties then click on it click on hardware and than look for your mouse and right click on it and look for remove than click on it to remove the mouse from the computer say yes than close out of it and restart the computer once the computer starts up the new hardware found should pop up and continue installation from here ok good luck !!!!!
start (button) select control panel / system / hardware / device manager / mice & pointing device / double click, select wheel mouse (or whatever mouse you have) right mouse click, properties, select use this device (enable) - But I'm surprised you are having trouble with it.. Have you changed anything recently? Have you always used a ps2 mouse? Try connecting the mouse & re-booting the pc.. Also make sure it's plugged into the correct port, not the ps2 keyboard port.. Especially checkif you are using a usb keyboard.. Rgds
If your computer is still under warranty, the company should replace them. If not, you can buy them really cheap.
Or you could just return the computer. This is what I would do, because it might not be the mouse/keyboard that is causing this. It could be that you just have a bad motherboard.
Make sure that the keyboard and mouse wires are plugged in the appropriate ports, if it still won't work, try switching keyboard and mouse. If it still will not work I would call the factory and try to have it shipped back because it could be blown ports.
ITS PROBLEM WITH SPYWARE IF U UNINSTALL SPYWARE SOME PART OF THE SPYWARE WILL NOT GET UNINSTALLED TRY TO FORMAT THE DRIVE AND RELOAD THE OS IT MIGHT SOLVE THE PROBLEM I HAD SAME PROBLEM WITH ONE MY CLIENTS COMPUTER I FORMATED THE DRIVE AND INSTALLED THE OS NOW THE COMPOUTER IS WORKING FINE
If you are using an external mouse, unplug it and see if it will go with the pad.If it works with the pad then its the exteranal mouse. If you are using the pad you may have to replace the pad or recalibrate it using the pointer device, you can use the tab key to go through to the start menu then use the arrow keys to go to control panel. Hope this helps
