How do i remove predictive text I desperately need help to get the phone off predictive text to enable a friend who is in hospital to use it. I have used the # key as advised but it just changes between predictive text or numbers.

Pressed and held hash key as suggested and lost the required single letter type texting option altogether!!
Help please.

Hi Nixonjan,

I had the same problem - try this and see if it works.
Go to Create message /Reply to message. When you are on your keypad hold in the # for a bit, then leave it and press the button on the right hand side that says T9.

It worked for me, hope it helps you

have you tried in the message settings or phone settings for texts .
