I can't adjust the straps

Hi Selina - Instructions are in your user manual on how to adjust the harness height. When the harness is correctly adjusted for your daughter the harness pads should sit comfortably. If you need to download a replacement user manual select the carseat you have then click "Service" at www.maxi-cosi.com

Adjustment of the strap

Its good to hear that you are using your uncles belt. But as it is your uncle's belt, you might face certain problems like now only you are having problem in adjusting the strap that holds the gun in place. So, just forget these all problems as I have a perfect option for you. I know some online stores those who provide the best leather holsters at a very cheap rate. They have lots of varieties and you can find your favorite holster at a price which will fit to your budget easily.

I am having trouble adjusting shoulder straps

Funny, I was just putting this seat back together after taking it apart to wash it. It is a very difficult process, simply because you have to remember which order to loop the buckles through the stap.

First, I assume you want to switch from the lower holes for the shoulder, to the upper. (If not, then there is no adjustment needed. Unless the strap is caught in the back which will make the straps uneven when you go to tighten them. This has happened to me).

So, first you need to remove the straps. Once the seat is removed from the car, look at the back of the seat and you will see a metal bracket that is holding three straps. The bottom strap is not removable from that bracket. The top two strap are attached to the bracket with loops. Remove the straps by sliding them out (edge of the strap has to come out the hole first, then the rest will slide out very easily), Once out, from the front of the seat, pull the strap through the holes

At this point you must decide whether you simply want to adjust the seat, or wash it too. I highly suggest washing it if you haven't done so recently. If you gone this far, go all the way. But since you only asked to adjust it, and the method for removing the cover is much more complicated, we''ll move on to adjusting

Now that you have the straps pulled through, be sure that the straps are not twisted, and simply push them through the desired holes - upper or lower - and reconnect to the loops brace (remember, edge in first).

If you are having problems with the straps not being even when tightened (one side tight on shoulder, other side loose), remove the seat and look to see if the strap is caught on something.

I'm retiring my seat today after six years and two kids. I could use it up to 80lbs, but it makes it difficult to get to the third row of seats in my car. So now we have two no-back boosters.

How can pull adjustment belt

The shoulder straps feedthrough a loop in the adjustment belt so when you pull on the belt it tightens the straps. When you say it came out, if it has come out completely then you will need to remove the car seat and locate where it connects to the shoulder straps before feeding it back through the hole again

Adjusting the shoulder straps on the Maclaren volo stroller

What year is your Volo. Different years adjust differently. The newer ones have 3 height adjustment slots and a slider that adjusts the strap itself. They do not adjust way down though and even with teh straps as tight as they will go, they are still a little loose on my 15 month old granddaughter. I have found that buy tightening the waist straps it does keep her a little more secure.

Missing Instruction Manual

https://plweb.evenflo.com/faq_detail.aspx?faqid=4407 the above link is for the manual but here are the instructions. If you have two plastic harness adjusters located on the back of your seat please follow the following steps: On the very bottom of your car seat locate two metal anchors one on each side of the seat, pull the metal anchors out of position and turn them sideways and feed them through to the front of the seat. Release the buckle tongues and chest clip and pull the harness straps to the back of the seat while pushing the chest clips, buckle tongues and harness anchors through to the back of the car seat. NOTE: You may find it easier by pulling down the seat pad when feeding the straps through. All pieces will fit through the harness slots. Choose the appropriate slots for the new harness position. Push the harness anchors, harness straps, buckle tongues and chest clips back through to the front of the seat. Once the straps are completely pulled back through to the front of the seat, make sure the straps are not twisted by clipping the chest clip together and buckling the buckle tongues, then feed the metal anchors through to the bottom of the seat and clip anchors back into place. ********************************************************************* If you have an adjustment strap that is located in between the child?s foot area that allows you to loosen and tighten the straps please follow the following steps: Loosen the harness straps by pressing the harness release button that is located between the child?s legs near the feet area; while pulling on the harness straps from the front of the car seat near the shoulder area.
