There is a significant high pitch running through my speakers. I checked speaker wires, & plugged in power cord into a different outlet. Still no luck. Any suggestions?

Disconnect the input(s) and see if it hums in the absence of an audio source. A bad audio cable shield or unwisely-routed audio cables will allow entrance of unwanted signals from external power sources, magnetic fields, even dimmer-controlled track lights. Sometimes, simply reversing the orientation of the ac power plug can eliminate humming.

I have a JVC RX-501 reciver and 2 speakers Sony(200W). I start the reciver and After 3-4 seconds it S make a sound like" bun bun " that S all... After 1-2 minute again..

The sound you're hearing could be due to a variety of reasons, such as a loose connection, a malfunctioning component, or a power issue. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

Check the speaker connections: Ensure that the speaker wires are properly connected to the receiver and the speakers. Make sure that the positive and negative terminals are correctly aligned. You can also try disconnecting and reconnecting the wires to ensure a secure connection.

Check the power source: Ensure that the receiver is plugged into a working power outlet and that the power cord is securely connected to the receiver. You can also try plugging the receiver into a different power outlet to see if that resolves the issue.
Check the volume level: Ensure that the volume level on the receiver is not set too high. High volume levels can cause distortion and other issues.

Reset the receiver: Try resetting the receiver to its default settings. To do this, turn off the receiver and unplug it from the power source. Wait for a few minutes, then plug the receiver back in and turn it on.

If these suggestion don't help, you may have to seek professional repair.

I have the IQ 4522DJBT bluetooth speaker and i am having trouble charging my unit how do you know when its your power cord.

  1. Check the power cord for visible damage: Look for any frayed wires, cuts, or broken connections. If you find any damage, the power cord will need to be replaced.
  2. Try a different power source: Plug the speaker into a different outlet or power source to see if the issue is with the outlet.
  3. Use a different power cord: Try using a different power cord to see if the issue is with the cord that came with the speaker.
  4. Check the charging port: Make sure the charging port on the speaker is not damaged or obstructed. Clean it if necessary.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, the problem may be with the speaker itself and it may need to be repaired or replaced

How do I eliminate buzz?

Things to check:
1. With your multi meter, measure from left ground to right ground. What do you get? Measure from each input ground to chassis. What do you get there.

2. Get or make a pair of shorting plugs. Plug those into the inputs. Power on. Hum there or gone?

3. Turn the pre-amp on. Connect. Level of hum change with preamp on?

4 additional information. How efficient are your speakers? This is a big amp, high-efficiency speakers may show some noise, while low-efficiency speakers won't.

A trip back to the shop may be indicated, too.

High pitched noise in speaker

Could be an alternator problem. Bad ground wire or just old bad wiring.
If you have an amp then the power wire is to close to the speaker wire.

My Logitech computer speakers are playing distorted sound. Also notice that the green power light is dim and wavering.

Could be the outlet, or the power strip if it is on one. would try a new outlet in a different room. return the speakers if this does not work.

Two speakers hum noise

Very doubtful that hum issue is ground potential difference from multiple power outlets as power cord is not grounding type (it is transformer isolated). I do agree that it is good practice to connect all audio equipment to common power strip though, especially with pro sound. Check the audio cords connecting your speakers to the coumputer sound card: 1) Make sure they are connected to the correct jacks and plugged in all the way, 2) wipe the connectors off with a clean paper towel wetted with a smidge of WD-40, 3) replace cords if all else fails. I have also seen solder joints fail on the power supply capacitors (due to vibration) causing hum -- but leave this repair to an electronics technician due to dangerous voltages.

Sony AMP/Subwoofer Problem

It is probably the tweeter, inside the Sub. it's the small ceramic disk between the cone magnet, and the speaker. id this thing is cracked or broken, this will cause the problem. if this is not it, then it is a problem with something in the wiring, and the only way to rectify it is to buy a new sub. Sorry due :(
