Hi, I have a Kenmore model # 385-15512 sewing machine. It appears to be a pretty new machine I bought from my friend last summer. It was working but now the needle appears to be stuck down in the sewing machine. The wheel is not in the locked position. The needle appears to not to be moving up out of the plate when I move the hand wheel both directions. Do you know what I can do to fix this problem? Thank you, Mary

as for the missing part , go to sewing machine repair shops and have them get one for you

I assume you need belts for both machines? Searspartsdirect (SPD) are the best place for Kenmore replacement parts.

There are 2 belts on the 385 1233280 - the timing belt and the drive belt. Both are in stock at SPD and can be obtained by clicking on the following link:

Model 153.14310 does not exist. Model must be 158.1431 followed by other number.
