After downloading pictures with the "erase after downloading" box checked it starts to erase the pictures as expected, but hangs at pic 37. Is the memory card faulty, or is it a software bug?

I'm not sure what's causing that problem, but it will be much faster each time you download photos to not erase after downloading. Instead, find the option on your camera to format the card, and it will erase everything on the card in one process. It's much faster.

Hi, I have D90 standard package with 80-105 lens kit and I'm using it with 16 GB SD card. I'm using it almost a year now however last few weeks, when camera is on "off mode", little yellow light...

That is the card access lamp. It should light briefly when you insert a card and when you take a picture. If it's constantly blinking, something is wrong. Try removing and re-inserting the card. Try a camera reset with no card in the camera. Try downloading the pics to your computer and then formatting the card in the camera to completely erase it.

Get an inexpensive card reader and use it to download your pics to your computer. Then, format the card in the camera to erase and initialize it. It should work properly then and your pics will be safely stored on your computer. typrice_129.jpg

I used a memory card converter in my computer to put pictures up and I unplugged it improperly, Then when I put it back in my camera it said, "card not initialized." What do I do?

If the pictures are safely downloaded to your computer, then you can safely erase the card by formatting (initializing) it in the camera. If they are not, then don't format (initialize). Take the card to a store like Walmart and use their picture kiosk machines to either print your pics or save them to a CD.

Stoplight shows even though all pics have been downloaded

Do you happen to be on a Mac when you downloaded the photos? If so, make sure to empty the trash (while still having the camera plugged in) after you delete them.

My insignia lcd37 is hooking the comcast modem and works at times. Other times the sound is on, but the picture is blank. Is it worth fixing or just start over.

Okay you TV is hooked to a comcast modem? or do you mean My tv is hooked to the comcast converter box? A no picture but sound you want to first check you cables also try hooking up a dvd to the tv and see if that picture comes on if not and you got no pic and sound this would mean the backlight on this tv is dead or you got a bad inverter not converter, inverter inside the tv. Meaning it needs the repairshop but try and hook up a dvd to it and see if you got picture if so you cable box might be the issue call comcast!

Thanks and please leave valuable feeback and ratings today!

Consider either doing master reset or reinstalling the phone software
Key codes
*#7780# - default factory settings
*#7370# - soft format — erases all telephone memory.
[Green] * 3 - hard format — if only the telephone memory is formatted, puts back the attitudes and reboots

I have a Pentax Optio M10, I was asked if I wanted to reset the camera and once I did all of the pictures were erased.

Belatedly I've learned that it pays to take a digital photography course when you own an M10. It's a great camera but it expects a lot of you and the manual is hard to comprehend. When you reset the camera, you erase the entire photo memory -- you should only use it when you want to clear out the memory.
IF you have vital photos there that you want to retrieve (like wedding picture), you can take your photo card to a photo store and for (I'm told) $100 to $150 they can possibly retrieve your pix. My instructor said there also may be some free recovery software out there online, although he didn't give any specifics. Good luck!

Erasing pictures

If you erase them off your memory card they shouldn't be transfering back onto your computer. I would say that maybe they are saved on your internal memory of the camera also. Take your memory card out and see if when you turn the camera on you have pics in the camera stored. If you do delete them then. :)
