These are complictaed and not very safe. Most of the older Graco cribs have been recalled.
In my experience, the metal dropside guides can come loose. This may allow a child to slide down thru the edge of the mattress and the metal dropside. I would not use the crib. It is truley unsafe.
If you insist on using it, drill a hole thru the headboard and footboard and drive a screw thru
into the soft plastic guides on the dropside to make it a stationary side. Please, for your childs sake,
get a new crib. You only get one chance with a child. It's not worth it.

Lost instructions to convert lajobi graco rachel converter crib to toddler bed

Ok, I finally figured it out!! You need to flip the metal fixture that is on the bottom inside of the legs. If the fixture with the "J" shape cut out is up, it's for the crib rail. If the fixture with the plastic bumper is up, you can place the toddler rail on it.

Hope this helps to all!!

Converted toddler bed to high off ground

If you have it on the lowest setting already, that's as low as it can go. If you have wheels (which I don't think yours does) you could remove them to lower it a bit more. If it comes with a wood toddler rail to keep her from falling out, I would use that. If it doesn't, you can pick a metal/mesh one up at any baby store in various lengths. You could also put pillows or stuffed animals on the floor to break her fall. Another helpful tip for when she is a bit older and no longer has a toddler rail, you can slip a pool noodle under the sheet to prevent simple rolling out of bed. Hope this helps.

Delta Martine crib conversion kit

You can order the crib rails through your local Babies R Us. We have the same crib, and have been having trouble locating them also. I spoke with the store manager today, and she said all DELTA cribs use the same rails. They are a metal pair that cost $69.99. The number for them is: 617153. Hope this helps!! :-)

Graco 3-in-1 crib instructions

Check this CPSC link.

Most if not all of the simplicity brand cribs have been recalled reguardless of whether they had wood or metal mattress supports.

There were 2 different recalls on the wood version but both were recalled for the drop-side issues.

This link specifically includes the Aspen 3 in 1 cribs and model #: 8740

We took ours to our local walmart last summer (we purchased it in a different state almost 8 years ago). I brought to cpsc report with me. They had not issue with the recalled information we has matching it to our crib. It did take the clerk a bit to find our crib in their system because it was older, but once she did we recieved a full refund, without a receipt.

As far as changing them to a toddler bed. When we converted ours to a toddler bed we simply removed the drop-side from the crib. The drop-side parts can be unscrewed from the side rails. Then we screwed the toddler rails to the bottom of the crib. Ours had screw holds for the toddler rails on the mattress support. If you do not have the holes for it, then you may have put the mattress support on backwards ie with the side that has the holes for the toddler bed rails on the backside of the crib.

Drastic Need for 2 Upper Tracks...

if you have the conversion kit for the crib to convert to a toddler bed, you should also have the white caps that go one the end of the guard rails for the toddler bed. I found with mine that they are the same ones as that are on the stationary side of the crib on the back side. if you do not mind having a crib with out a drop side you can remove both tracks and take those pieces and make it a stationary crib by merely following the way the rear side is put together. I have done it with mine as a guide was broken on mine. there should be four caps in the conversion kit that go on the two rails on the front side when you convert to a day bed. I figured out that they are the same as the ones on the back because you do actually use the ones off of the back side when you make it a toddler bed and put all four rail on.

Jardine convertible crib instructions

Hi, I know it looks hard but It's really simple .just take out the screws that are on each side on the bottom and top 1 on the top and one on the bottom each side( 4 in total )(Sides not on the front) and that's it, the front part comes off and you save it for when you make the bed a full size bed wich that part becomes the foot board. Hope this information helps! Good luck!!
