Hi I have a cheat here for easy leveling up
Easy Level Up
If your Pokemon is in the daycare to level it up all you have to do is get the acro bike then go the desert then when you see that thing that looks like lips just hold 'b' until the acro bike starts hopping then hop on that thing for 100 hops or more then when you go back to the day care they will tell you the Pokemon that you put in the daycare level up by one if you hop for 200 hops then he will say the Pokemon leveled up by 2 and so on

that is normal duncan.. that's the point of the whole "Migration" thing. It transfers the 6 pokemons from the emerald/sapphire/ruby/leaf green/fire red to diamond/pearl. after you migrated it, it will be totally lost from the emerald/etc.. and when i say totally, i meant PERMANENTLY gone. so i think the best way is that you have to clone them first(search cheats on how to clone pokemon), then migrate the clones or the original ones to your pearl/diamond.

first. have your emerald in with your pearl. (ds in ds slot and same with gba.) the turn on ds. choose pearl game. then when you get to the menue, click on migrate from emerald. (if you have changed any time setting, u will have 2 wait 24 hrs before u can migrate.) it will ask u a series of qu. answer "yes" 2 all of them. then u choose your pokemon CAREFULLY. (u cant migrate them back) Thats all. if u want an (EX:) master ball on pearl, attach it to your pokemon u r trading it with! :) Hope It Helps!

it's not possible to get back the saved file..... for some reason that happens a lot on ds/ds lites..... there is nothing wrong with the emerald game. try playing emerald on a GBA.
