Hello.
Had this problem my self a while back, here's what I found out. Firstly, it may simply be the switch is faulty. If this was a new install, take it back and try another. But before that, get all relevant information about the lights you are dimming. Here's why: Some light fixtures are incompatible with dimmers. They may dim - but not properly. Some lights/fixtures require specific dimmers to be used: incandescent or not, total wattage in fixture, and so on. Having this information may save you a trip if it's actually not the switch. Good luck.

No high beams, replaced both bulbs, daytime running lights will work sometimes and somtimes flicker, is it the DRL relay or the multie function switch.

the drl relay could cause the lights to flicker and possibly no high beams as the drl uses the high beam filament.also it could be the dimmer switch located at the base of the steering colume were the dimmer switch rod works the switch.

If the legrand dimmer 400w - pro21 can function with led dimmable light "philips master led spot "

The answer is NO. You need a Trailing Edge dimmer to control LEDs.

The Phillips master LED spot manual says
:
Lighting controls: bulbs are dimmable 20-100% with ""select"" Trailing Edge RC devices
http://www.prismaecat.lighting.philips.com/FredhopperPDFWebServiceInter/docts/1d8ea75f-e889-424d-92dc-450fbeb85f6a/Smart_LED_Spot_da.pdf

The Legrand pro21 manual does not say anything about being a Trailing edge dimmer.
http://www.legrand.com.gr/gr/gr/liblocal/internet_greece/PDFS/NOTICES/IOBL/ROOSTATES/775637EN.pdf

Legrand diagrams show what appears to be incandescent bulbs, and say nothing about LEDs

LEDs cannot be dimmed as ordinary incandescent (tungsten) bulb.

Flickering

#1 cause is a bad lamp, try changing that 1st, 2nd if they are two lamp fixtues you ballast could be going bad/or is. Another solution could be you have a loose common/neutral which is normally the white wire @ the light itself of if it is junctioned @ your switch. I would check those items befor spending the money for a new switch. hope this helps.

New Leviton 'lighted, decorative' switch flickers when off

You cannot use standard electronic dimmer switches with CFL bulbs, only incandesant bulbs! That is why you are getting the flickering.

With CFL's bulbs installed in a light fixture that has a non-flouresant rated dimmer switch on that circuit, you will cause the standard dimmer to fail.

You have to look at the dimmer package (sometimes printed on the back of the dimmer itself too) to see if it can be used with CFL bulbs,as many are not rated for use with anything other than standard incandesant bulbs.

Hope you found this very helpful and best regards!

Leviton slide dimmer switch w/locator light light comes on but doesnt dim

What sort of light is it , dimmer switches normally only work on Incandescent type lights not flourescent type.

Otherwise it sounds as if the dimmer function is faulty.

Flickering headlights

Check the wiring, headlamp switch, and dimmer switch. Also very likely a loose connector to the lamp itself, or a lousy ground. Try to replicate the problem by bouncing the assembly by hand, with the headlamps on. If power flickers, then you have the loose connector/ground problem. If not, you may have an intermittent short in the wiring itself.
Also, are both headlamps flickering? Or just one? If it's both, then your dimmer switch/headlamp switch are likely to be at fault. If it's only one, check the wiring.
