Tried replacing the cables???

Your DVR hard drive might be defective, replace the hard drive and reboot the DVR.

Is it recording? Check you video settings. You may need to reformat the hard drive.

bring up unwanted program then edit should let you save or delete there .

Surveillance DVRs write over the oldest data when the hard drive needs more space.

You do not need to manage that manually. It is all handled automatically by the operating system of the DVR.

Sounds like a bad power supply or hard drive. Try replacing the hard drive first and see if that cures it. Otherwise, the DVR could be bad.

You need to format the hard drive using the built in formatting utlity. Did you replace the hard drive in the DVR maybe?

It does the same thing to me....Can you imagine sitting there viewing the whole hard drive just to see what happen 39 minutes ago. This Samsung DVR is stink.....believe me ...Every problem I read on here,,Im have the same..

there will be bespoke dvr software on the drive, this would need to be transferred to the new drive. there may be bespoke formatting as well, check the makers web site
