The freezer seems to be ok, there are times when the compressor is not working it seems and the top refrigerator is warm. I thought it may have been that there was too much stuff in the refrigerator, but that does seem to be the problem

the refrigerator have reached the set temperature? then is ok. it is posible to stop the freezer when that reach the set teperature and the refrigerator work. give more detail if you want get help from sombody.

you have leakeage on pipes(smal hole) in short time and the freezer wil not getting cold.call specialized service, they must have a good welder.

frost free refrigerators consists of -
1)Heater
2)Thermostat(bimetal)
3)timer

heater and bimetal are in freezer section. First check heater. Give it direct power supply. If it heats up,its OK. Then check bimetal. Immerse it in Ice. check continuity using a continuity tester. If its showing continuity its OK too.

change timer if both heater and bimetal are OK.

OK THEN FROM WHAT YOU SAY SINCE THE FREZER WORKS BUT NO FRIDGE IT SOUNDS LIKE A DOOR SEAL FOR THE FRIDGE DOOR GONE BAD,DIRTY,WARPED,OR WORN OR THE DOOR IS'NT SHUTTING ALL THE WAY THIS IS THE NEXT STEP OF WHAT TO LOOK AT

is there frost building up in the freezer?mike

could be the flap that controls the air to the evaporator.

maybe stuck to close.
