My projector doesnt power on and the fan can not be heard .. but the red power light comes on when I plug it up. I changed the lamp and lense and cleanned the filter. Still no picture come on.. iI dont know whether there is a color wheel or if something is burnt out..

Count how many times the red lamp blink and then check in this manual - which problem refers to this mode of blinking lamp:: http://www.retrevo.com/support/Sharp-XG-C50X-Projectors-manual/id/1075bh051/t/2/

Plug in and green light comes on. Powers up with fan running for 30 seconds, and then power light flashes red and shuts down. Never lights up during process, but the change bulb light never comes on...

Check the lamp. If it is not blown then there is a problem in the lamp ballast circuit and the projector will need to be serviced.

Red power, blinking red temp

Hi,

if the Lamp error and Temperature error lights are flashing red this means that there are two separate errors.

A flashing lamp light means the lamp failed to ignite. It could be a lamp driver problem or lamp failure. Replace the lamp to resolve the issue. If the issue is not resolved, then service the projector.
A flashing Temperature light signals a fan error. Turn the projector off and allow it to cool down. If the light is still flashing after the projector is turned back on, service the projector.

My PT-D5500U will show the red light when the power is plugged in, when I turn on the other power the power light will go green for a moment and then start blinking red. No lamp comes on and the fan gets...

How many hours are on the projector? I would say that you need to change lamps first. Unfortuantely, this series of Panasonic is known for lamp and lamp circuit issues. There are runs of bad lamps...try 2 new lamps if possible or consult an authorized service center.

What bulb is needed to replace in the projector?

three green lights come on then the standby light goes red and remains on when the projector is plugged in. The lamp and fan do not come on when the power button is pressed instead the lamp light comes on red.

My infocus will not come on. the red light blinks. change the bulb but didn't do any good

check the colorwheel. if the colorwheel doesn't spin, the lamp won't light. if no fans come on either, replace the power supply.

I got a free sharp notevision PG-m20x. I plug it

if you don't hear a high-pitched whir, the colorwheel needs replacing. if you do hear it, the lamp may need replacing. if the lamp is new, there is a power supply problem.
