I'm trying to connect my xbox with a wireless connection. I need the wep key can you help me with this problem?

Very easy. you will need your laptop and an ethernet wire.

1.) turn off wireless on your laptop.
2.) plug your computer to the router with ethernet wire.
3.) open your browser
4.) if your router is a linksys, type 192.168.1.1,
if its a D-link type 192.168.0.1 in the adress bar
5.) type your username and password in the pop up.
6.) default user: admin (linksys and D-link)
7.) default pass: admin (linksys) nothing for D-link or vice versa
8.) for a D-link: Click on the wireless settings on the left side- you should be able to see the security keys there.
9.) for linksys: click on wireless, then wireless security
then you will see the page with the wep key listed.
use the first wep key listed.

If you don't know what your router's WEP key is you will need to reset it. Can you post your router's make and model number so I can guide you through the process?

Log on to your wireless router(with pc) and setup look in to wireless setups inside there
