I have a XEROX FAXCENTRE F110 that prints a 1 page stored document and then hangs (freezes). The only thing you can do is unplug it but then again when power is back it tries to print the same document as it thinks it still has to be printed. So, it hangs (freezes) again and so on... I guess it really needs a memory reset. Can anyone help? Disassembly of the device is not an issue ;)

Hmmm, salty taste not bad (not from the pork loin, I know) and no police reporting of such an attack! That's OK, seems like you liked the abuse. Just wish you to at least be able to contact the dear gentleman and arrange a "repeat" or two!

P.S. Thanks again for all that usefull info shared with the public. OVER

Reset 02 means the fuser is not warming up.
Most likely a fuser failure of the overheat thermostadt.
Need to have the fuser replaced most likely.

SOURCE: Printing issue

You need to replace the fuser. What is occuring is the teflon coating on the heat roller is worn and picking up some of the image off of the page and repeating it in a ghose like fashion.
Not a difficult replacement.

SOURCE: Xerox Phaser 8560 mfp Printing issue

That really sounds like you need to replace the maintenance kit.
The white roller most likely is black and has depleted itself of lubricant a bit prematurely.

SOURCE: hi how do I turn

The machine can print a transmission (confirmation) report after each transmitted fax. This report indicates whether or not the fax has reached the intended recipient. Four different settings are available for the transmission report:

  • With: a report is printed when the fax transmission was successfully sent or when it is completely abandoned. There is only one report for each fax sent.
  • Without: no transmission report is automatically printed, however, the machine will save all fax transmissions that took place in memory. The faxes sent can be viewed by printing out a transmission log (report).
  • Always: a report is printed after each successful or interrupted transmission.
  • On Error: a report is printed only if the transmission failed or is abandoned.

NOTE: With each transmission report from memory, a reduced version of the first page is automatically reproduced.

To modify the report type setting:
  1. Press the [OK] button directly below the Display Screen. '1 Installation' and '2 Fax' will be displayed.
  2. Press [2], [5] on the numeric keypad. ‘25 >Send Report’ will be displayed.
  3. Press [OK]. The transmission report screen will be displayed.
  4. Press the up or down arrow button directly below the Display Screen to select a transmission report setting, then press [OK]. ‘25 Send Report’ will be displayed.

NOTE: As the up and down arrow buttons are pressed, the menu will scroll through the available choices and move the greater than symbol (>). Stop when the greater symbol is in front of the appropriate selection.

  5. Press the [Stop] button on the Control Panel. The 'Date / Time' screen will be displayed

I would like to block all incoming faxes on the faxcentre f110 so that it is an outgoing fax only, how do i do this?

You don't really need to block incoming faxes, but just set the machine not to automatically answer them. This figure is from the manual:

pgh_pa_guy_1.png

Press the MODE button until you see MANUAL displayed. In manual mode you need to answer and start receiving a fax yourself from the machine.

You can download a copy of the user manual from Xerox if you need it.

Black line on the page when printing fax or making copies

The lines may come from the toner/ drum cartridge. Try stopping the job by opening a cover, and see if the defect exists before it reaches the fuser.
The fuser for the F110 is PN 126N00235
The toner/ drum unit is 013R00605 (several alternate numbers exist)
And it could also be the transfer roller 022N02107

Hope that helps

F110 new cartridge, insert card, but card expired?

You will have to exchange it. If you got it from Xerox they will send you a new one, or exchange it as defective. That is very unfortunate.

CHECK PAPER

Unplug the power cord for 10 seconds

You must contact the sending party and tell them to STOP if the above does not fix the problem.

We have XEROX FaxCentre 123.

1. Instead of printing / copying page by page, collate the print...see the options while printing...it will look like 111,222,333 OR 123,123,123 etc.,

2. connect the machine to LAN network by using the LAN module
3. if LAN module is not available, connect a PC to it directly and make it the print controller -> share the printer -> install drivers in other pcs and ..... start printing

have a nice day

bye

I hope my solution was useful

BAD COPY

verify it is your fax not the sending one  by doing a copy, then do a report of some sort. this will show us if the fault is in the optics or in print mechanism, if report is ok then it is the optics (clean glass) but I doubt this is your problem I reckon you get a blank mark down your report and copy that being the case then the fault is no toner left in print cartridge, replace cart
