I have a coby 610-8g. i am trying to put a digital movie i just bought on it. the file is on my pc desktop.it will not go on to the mp3.

You will need a proper media convertor that is recognisable for your Coby. Down this sofware from the Coby media player downloads and install this in your computer. Convert all your movies within the computer to convert using the sofware , connecting your Coby to the PC , copy to the player. Repeat the process for all the video files. Hope this helps you. Videos that you've downloaded from the internet may be in many different formats; you'll need to convert them to the format recognized by your MP600.
The easiest way to do this is to install the Coby Media Manager (CMM) software that was included with your player. Use CMM to convert and transfer movies from your computer to the MP600.

if its a small mp3 player you cant put movies but if it is a mp3 player with a usb that allows movies you just transfer it to the usb file by copy nad pasting

If you want to put movie in your mp3. be sure that you know what is the file type.For example the file type of movie in your mp3 is AVI, so you need yo convert your movie to AVI format, because if it is not an AVI,it wont play because they are not in the same format required

some MP3 players cant read anything but MP4 files

Copy mp3 files directly into the root directory. Don't copy them into the other directory's. You then should be able to see the MP3 files on your PC and your player.
