My T 45 office jet will not down load drivers for vista ?

uninstall drivers and reinstall drivers from hp.com's website:

Note, there are 3 or 4 different versions of the office jet pro 8500.

Not yours? Then input the proper one, according to your documentation or stickers or box.

use the Desk jet 890c driver built in to Vista. Use the Add Printer command and choose the Desk jet 890c from the printers listed.

Check the 32 bit or 64bit version of your pc.

Go to the HP website and download the latest driver for your printer, and load it first then connect the printer. if you are using windows vista this won't work because there is no driver on the market for the T series yet. Good Luck

Check for drivers if installed correctly for HP office jet .
check in device manager if there are any exclamation mark next to HP office jet all in one. Reinstall the drivers and then check. Also check if the vista compatible driver is available.

Unless you purchased the printer recently, you'll need to download the drivers from HP's website for windows Vista. The CD that came with the printer likely only has the XP drivers on it.

Assuming this is a 4315, the following link will take you directly to the drivers download page. Otherwise search for your specific model on Hp's website to download the vista dirvers.

Go to the hp office jet all-in-one website and do a search for vista drivers.
The 'Google Toolbar' can help in this, use the icon next to the Google search-box GO button, it looks like a magnifying glass with a googly eye in it.
Then you can "Search only on..." (whatever website you are currently on).
