My Sound Space12 powers on but there's no display and no manual or remote functions to operate the discs or the other functions.Can you provide a answer.regards

You can use some functions of the MVDR2102 without a remote. You can play a DVD. You can also record a program (one-touch recording) from an external source or a specific channel. You can't access the timer recording function or finalize a disc without a remote that provides those functions. See https://www.manualslib.com/manual/295195/Memorex-Mvdr2102.html?page=9#manual for the front panel buttons on the DVD recorder. Note: the DVD recorder only has an NTSC (analog tuner).

To display memorized error (Protective operation)

Have you gone through this checking sequence.? it's from a Panasonic a/c manual. It could be something as simple as a clogged filter. Once you have rectified the fault, you will probably have to clear the fault code as described at bottom below, before it will condescend to work again.

Solutions: 1) on the side of the TV there should be buttons to operate functions such as volume or channel.

Problem solved. I decided to use the learning function of my remote to learn the wanted commands of the original remote. The remote I used was a Sony RM-VL610 which could learn the original remotes functions easy and quickly. This is a very good remote for only $30 purchased at Target. The Macro commands were also entered rather easily. I did not try this method originally,because I thought it would be too time consuming and difficult.

The P.BASS function is only available with 2 channel LPCM sources such as mp3,Divx,cd
and wma. Press P.BASS button and "POWER BASS ON" will be displayed on the screen.
The P.bass does not work with DSP/EQ or DOLBY PRO LOGIC ll modes.
If you press P.BASS in the DSP/EQ mode, the DSP/EQ mode is automatically shut off and the P. BASS function comes on.
The DSP/EQ function is only available in STEREO mode.
Press the PL ii mode button to show STEREO on the display.
This feature works with CDs, MP3-CDs, 2 channel DVD-Audio, DivX and Dolby Digital discs.
When playing a DVD disc encoded with two or more channels, multi-channel mode will be selected automatically and DSP/EQ function does not work.

I also accidently locked my Samsung TV. I unplugged the power cord and powered up after a minute or so. Set was un-locked after after power up.
