I recently dropped my Sony DSC-T10 camera on the floor (by accident), and ever since all I get is "The White Screen of Death". My LCD screen shows only white - wether I'm trying to take a picture, look at pictures, or record. It seems like I can still take pictures, but since there is no viewfinder - it's doesn't matter. I've tried removing the battery and the memory card. I tried resetting the camera to the factory settings by using Sony's tutorial, and I tried "firmly rapping" on the Cyber-shot logo like some other people having this problem with Sony cameras have suggested. I also tried pressing on the Sony logo at the bottom of the LCD screen (at another person's suggestion), but nothing happens. Please help! I love this camera and am not ready to give up on it!
I am having the same exact problem!
I can take about 10 shots and then I get the white screen. If it sits a few days, I can take another 10 or so shots and get the white screen.
