Yes you can! You do so using a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable like this one http://www.google.com/products/catalog?q=3.5mm+to+3.5mm+jack&um=1&ie=UTF-8&cid=16574343264158076501&sa=X&ei=F59xTZK7MIKC8gagrYHpDg&ved=0CEEQ8wIwAg#
Your local radioshack or best buy should have one.

If the boom box has a Aux input socket somewhere the you need a male to male wire (like headphones but has plug on both ends) or go to dollar store and get one that leads to a cassette Sorry I can't remember what they are called but the cassette has a metal strip instead of a ribbon and then plug the wire into i pod and set boombox to tape, good luck
P.s ipod may have different port sizes but headphone jack should be the same

Sony ICF-DS11iP doesn't play my Ipod touch. Radio, Alarm, Ipod Charging functions work. Pls suggest a solution

Please check the iPod connector on the Sony. If you can wiggle it, it is probably a bad connection. These models Sony radios have the connector directly soldered on a PCB and it tends to get loose after a while due to connecting/disconnecting the iPod. If it is loose, the connector needs to be resoldered back into place.

I have had the following circumstances when there was a bad connection:
- iPod will not be charged
- iPod can not play music through the Sony
- iPod will play music through the Sony, but an iPhone won't

I just want to fix my ipod on it

I'm glad to provide the instructions to connect an iPod to the Sony Receiver. Depends upon the model, it is possible that the iPod can be connected to a Sony Receiver using a Digital Media Port Adapter. Purchase the Digital Media Port separately, connect the iPod to the Digital Media Port Adapter and then connect it to the Receiver. However, some Receivers are not compatible for connecting Digital Media Port Adapter. In that case, you can connect the Headphone output of the iPod to the Aux/Line input on the Receiver.
Please provide the model # of the Receiver that you're using so that I can provide more information about the specific connections. Thanks for understanding.

Sony cd radio cassetteplayer says no disc when disc is in player

Make sure your cd medium is compatible with your Sony unit. Some cd types that have been burned on a computer may not be compatible. Check your instruction book for your Sony unit to see what types of cd medium you can use.. Also, the lens on you cd player could be dirty and may need a cleaning CLICK HERE to see the Radio Shack lens cleaner. You can also get them at may other locations like Walmart, Target, Sears, and Best Buy. Good Luck! : )
