I need a Samsung TS-L462A/BEBN CD-RW/DVD-ROM (Combo) Burner replacement drive

you can not burn a dvd with a dvd rom you will need a dvd-rw not a cd-rw

It can read DVDs but cant write.. so its NOT a DVD writer..

use Nero Burning room

your TS-H492A/RSWN can write dvd at a speed of 52x and write to cd with a speed of 32x. for you to be able to write to a dvd you will need a dvd writer software

could be your player is very choosy with the kind of brand you are using. try using other dvd recordable disk brand. to burn a dvd you will be needing a special writing software for dvd. you cannot use a dvd if you just want to burn a cd. you should only use a recordable cd.
