Our dishwasher is leaking from the bottom somewhere & we can't find where it is leaking.

The pump or connecting hoses are leaking.

A person familiar with plumbing needs to check your dishwasher and disposal and pipes that are connected with both of these.
To me it sounds like you have a blockage somewhere, could even be in the pipes, not the disposal or the dishwasher.
The leak of the disposal could be the disposal leaking or the plumbing pipes leaking.

They unit is held in by a screw into bottom of cabinet. Dishwashers are not repairing.

I left mine disconnected and it leaked did you fix yours?

Can be that you have a leak somewhere.
At the bottom is a reservoir with a plunjer , wich switches everything off when this reservoir is full.
This is to prevent , that your kitchenfloor gets wett

Hi - unfortunately my good friend it cannot be reset as one would like quite easily anyhow... water has found its way to the base of the drwaers and have activated the flooding switch - one could pull it apart to dry it - tip the water out from the base but if the leaks not repaired you will have the same problem later and will be on-going.

1)wash pump bearing damage(water leaks&leak on winding &bearing etc..,)
2)arrest the leakage &check.

i think its daft as well but nearly all dishwashers have this feature. you have a leak somewhere to cause this
