Refer to page 68 for a picture of the front panel connector and page 70 table 45 for the wire connector. The +5 v power is pin 9 which is the 1st single pin counting from the right with pin 1. Connect your power switch here.

You won't find any SATA connectors on that motherboard because it doesn't support SATA.

In short, yes you can upgrade to a P4 cpu but from the compatibility chart at Intel support, it looks like the upper limit for this older board is the P4 2.6GHz.

Note: Even at that, running the P4 2.6 would require a BIOS upgrade to P12 or greater.

Luckily, the following link has the information you seek: (for BIOS info, click the "BIOS Version" link in the upper right corner of the compatibility table provided)

On your board in the corner at bottom, you find pins for front panel Power Switch Cable, over there in small characters PWR SW is written, you can put your Power SW Wire there
