1. Those are definitely volume keys but mainly used for ringer control as well as music playback sound control. So if you are trying only during these situations it should work. If it's not then may be a hardware issue or any special app that you installed to customize the control.

2. Most likely the APN settings. You may request your service provider to send them again to your mobile phone.

How do I turn off "safe mode" on a Samsung Galaxy S4?

To turn off
Powering down , then back on should do the trick. Be sure to completely down. Do not select "restart". If you still have problems, remove back cover and pull battery from device. Leave the battery out for about 60 seconds, then place the battery back in, assemble the rear cover and start the phone again.
Some galaxy s4 models may require you to press and hold the volume down button during start-up in the same manner as enabling it to exit safe mode.

W902 Sony Ericsson. My Walkman button and my volume up wont work properly.. i'we already opened up the phone and cant seem to find any damage or visible faulties on the buttons. They seem unharmed and they...

Seems like a known issue with the W902. Same here, dropped my w902 a few months back and the Walkman button and Volume up keys not workin now.

Walkman button not really an issue as you still can navigate to it via the menu system but no volume UP key is annoying. You can't increase volume especially when you volume it down. Power the w902 down and up, will reset volume to 6/10.

Solution: I came across a site where you can change volume without the volume up key.

1. Ensure you lock the phone (* and Contact key)

2. While holding down the disconnect button (the one that you switch the phone off) and camera button (on the right side, bottom button), pressing 7 will decrease volume while * key will increase volume.

You need to hold both button for 7 and * to work. Works great for me as I dont have to replace my phone, hope this help.

Remote problems

This is the preferred method of code searching our technicians use.

1. TV on.
2. On your Dish Network remote PRESS AND HOLD the small clear tv button until all buttons across the top of the remote light up and release. The only button lit should be the clear tv button that will be flashing.
3. Press the small red tv button next to the power button and release it. This should leave the clear tv button that was flashing lit solid.
4. Now slowly depress the channel up key until the tv turns off. Each time the up channel button is depressed the clear tv button will cease being lit and once it is released the clear tv button should remain solid. If the clear tv button flashes multiple times it usually means there is no known code for your tv, there may be another code that will work so continue on.
5. Once you are successful in getting the TV turned off press the channel down button once and then the channel up button. This should turn the TV back on.
6.Press the # key button on the remote. The clear tv button should flash three times then press the record button and try the volume up/down and the small red tv button. You should be able to turn volume up and down and turn tv on /off. If only one of these function it means that you have only found a half code and need to try the process again. Not all TV's have full codes or any codes at all especially combo units.
I hope this helps you and thanks for using Fix Ya.

Tmobile wing..

Hi Samantha
Try and do a soft reset for your device by pressing the reset button on the side of the device "It's a small hole just below the volume slider. You can press it with your stylus pen"

If that doesnt work, you may need to hard reset the device. Note, if u hard reset, you will loose all your data. Make sure you backup all your data before doing a hard reset.

It can be done by holding down the two soft keys on the front of the phone (the soft keys are two buttons with a "-" symbol on them.

To hard reset, hold down the two soft keys on the front of the phone (the soft keys are two buttons with a "-" symbol on them.

Hold those two down, at the same time, while pressing the reset button on the side of the phone. This will erase all data, and restore the phone back to factory condition.

Cheers
