Hello! casio ex-z1050 no longer included. The unit does not drop. Just put it on a shelf in the set state with the lens. It took no more than 1-2 minutes corrected the subject and returned him. When picked up, the device is "depends " not on what buttons did not respond. I had to pull out the battery. After returning the battery in place, including, pushed the lens on and off. Pressing on to include not responding. Constantly flashes red. And starts to blink once to insert the battery (without pressing the power button), 1 time at first green, then solid red. In the test mode does not come out. To any key does not respond. What should I do? Thank you!

I'm afraid I find it difficult to understand your query - however, this camera is now ten years old, and all consumer electronics have a limited life. The cost of repair would far outweigh the cost of a replacement.

SOURCE: Casio Exilim EX-Z850 Red Light Flashing

I have been having this same problem. It doesn't happen everytime, but there have been a number of occasions when my Exilim Z850 would display a blinking red light and refuse to take pictures. I thought it was a battery issue, so I tried buying a new battery, eventhough I observed this problem soon after the camera was newly purchased. The new battery didn't help resolve the issue. So I do hope someone out there has figured out what's wrong and will let us know.

SOURCE: My casio exilim EX-z1050 power problem

The best thing to do is to take into a camera shop or Best Buy and find out why it isn't working. It could be an easy fix and solution once someone looks at it.

SOURCE: Black spot in display

If the camera operates normally and the only problem is no picture is visible on the lcd in record mode and playback mode, then the lcd needs to be replaced.

SOURCE: card locked

1) If you take out the memory card there will be a small unlock/lock switch on the side of it (that may be the problem?)

2) If step 1 does not work, than it's an internal issue w/camera and you will have to send it to Casio for repair. Here is the link www.ecasiorepair.com. They will charge $39-115 if the camera is not under warranty.

SOURCE: I need a USB Cable for a Casio EX-Z1050. Where do

These USB cables are pretty standard, just take your camera with you to any major electrical retail outlet like Tandy and you should be able to match the fit to your camera. Camer Shops would or should have them in stock also. You dont have to have a CASIO they dont make them they buy them in to suit their fitted plug input and dont stick to any brand, just the configuration.

Camera was dropped in use and the lens has half closed and jammed! The camera will not turn on even to view the pictures on the memory card. Is there a way to reset or manually close the lens? Also do you...

hi try to reset ur camera...To do such reset, turn on the camera and hold the menu button down for longer than 5 seconds. A message should hopefully come up on your LCD asking if you want to reset the camera. Select Yes...

Lens does not close anymore -

When you opened it the cog connected to the motor which opens and closes the lens probably shifted and no longer has traction against the ring around the inside of the lens which turns it to open and close it. If you open the camera up again be extremely careful - the lens has loads of springs inside it - lose one of these and it won't work properly. I opened up the whole thing to try and fix my lens which had been jammed in after a friend dropped it. I fixed the lens but couldn't put the damn thing back together again to many tiny parts and no guide to the jigsaw!!

Casio EX-Z700 was dropped in sand. When camera is turned on lens makes a grating sound and the moniter screen is cloudy. It originally said lens error, but no longer says anything.

Hello, I'm Mark Faith from the states. I purchased the CASIO EX-Z700 series.
However, I accidentally dropped the camera when the camera was on and the lens was extended.
It makes a grating sound, and the monitor screen said "Lens error".

Now, the camera is turned off with its lens extended.
When I see the lens from the top, the lens position is more concentrated to the right, and the gaps between each lens is bigger on the left hand side of the lens.

I sincerely hope this would help you to analyze the lens situation.
I'll be patiently waiting for a list of solutions.
Thanks.
