SOURCE: Casio Exilim EX-Z850 Red Light Flashing
I have been having this same problem. It doesn't happen everytime, but there have been a number of occasions when my Exilim Z850 would display a blinking red light and refuse to take pictures. I thought it was a battery issue, so I tried buying a new battery, eventhough I observed this problem soon after the camera was newly purchased. The new battery didn't help resolve the issue. So I do hope someone out there has figured out what's wrong and will let us know.

The best thing to do is to take into a camera shop or Best Buy and find out why it isn't working. It could be an easy fix and solution once someone looks at it.
SOURCE: Black spot in display
If the camera operates normally and the only problem is no picture is visible on the lcd in record mode and playback mode, then the lcd needs to be replaced.
SOURCE: card locked
1) If you take out the memory card there will be a small unlock/lock switch on the side of it (that may be the problem?)
2) If step 1 does not work, than it's an internal issue w/camera and you will have to send it to Casio for repair. Here is the link www.ecasiorepair.com. They will charge $39-115 if the camera is not under warranty.
SOURCE: I need a USB Cable for a Casio EX-Z1050. Where do
These USB cables are pretty standard, just take your camera with you to any major electrical retail outlet like Tandy and you should be able to match the fit to your camera. Camer Shops would or should have them in stock also. You dont have to have a CASIO they dont make them they buy them in to suit their fitted plug input and dont stick to any brand, just the configuration.
