Check your VIN against the NHSTA site linked below https://www.nhtsa.gov/recall-spotlight/takata-air-bags

toyota ascent are fitted with different radios during the model production run

the glove box owner manual should have a card with a 3 or 4 digit number you enter into the radio
.if missing contact or take the ascent to a toyota service center and you get the correct code using the vin number

Look on your information sticker under the hood , it tells you the engine size and what type of oil to use .

Workshop manual or youtube , I would try youtube first and put in the same words and go through all the answers ps youtube is my bible for things like this good luck colin

check under hood back against firewall look for a harnest with a screw in the middle good luck
