2008 Mercury Mountaineer electrical issues

This is a devious problem which could lie anywhere. So many things not functioning would perhaps be a ground problem. Maybe take some extra care in cleaning the battery terminals, check if the ground wire is connected to the chassis. Do you have rodents in your area? Maybe they nibbled some wire somewhere?

I have a 2008 f350 superduty 6.4. Truck was running fine last night when I parked it. This morning,a wrench symbol appears when I turned on the key, the engine turns over but does not start.

The wrench means you have a drivetrain or throttle issue.

Most likely a TPS problem.

Dealer can pull the codes to see what the actual issue is.

Thanks!

WILL NOT START

sounds like water ingress to either a control module or the coil pack, check all control box locations eg footwells for water and then check the engine bay for loose or naked wires, dry and clean and possibly cover with a plastic bag etc and it should be fine.

Wont start

could be your fuel pump or your coil packs not giving out any spark
