Try these drivers they are for windows vista and normally windows vista drivers will work for windows seven.
Make sure to know if you need the 32 bit or 64 bit version of these drivers for Vista (you'll know if you have windows 7 64 bit or not.)
To find out click start > control panel > system and security > system
Under system it'll say whether it's 32 or 64 bit.

You can follow Hp's Installing and Configuring an Alternate Driver in Windows Vista. Click this link provided by HP.

Before you follow though with Hp's alternet driver site. Please run windows update for Vista un till no updates are left. If your printer still fails to run correctly than try HP's alternate drive.
