Unfortunately, you won't find new spare parts as the model is so long out of production and the manufacturer ceased to exist many years ago. The difficulty is compounded by the fact that there is so little money in servicing and repairing 35mm SLR cameras that most repairers have ceased trading. If you do strike lucky, then unless the part is very cheap and you have the skills to fit it yourself it makes no economic sense at all as the body in excellent cosmetic and functional condition is only worth £5-£10 in the UK (where I am) and probably less in the USA.

The only source will be from a used donor model, but as there are plenty of KR-5's, KR-10's and similar Pentax K-mount bodies lying unused these days why bother paying for one? Almost every 35mm SLR and lens I've acquired in the last six years has been totally free via my local FreeCycle and Freegle groups, and most have been fully functional or just needing new batteries and light seals.

If you're really determined to save your camera then you maybe able to fabricate the spring yourself, but it's been so long since I took a KR series model apart that I don't recall the design so it may be an impractical suggestion.

Good luck, and sorry that this is not the answer you were hoping for.

Lite meter don't work I bought it off internet seller said it was in exl.cond.it looks that's all

The built-in through-the-lens CdS exposure metering system of your KR-5 SUPER operates on power activated by two 1.5V SR-44 silver oxide batteries, which are supplied together with your camera. Have you changed the battery? Also, many of these older cameras the light meters are not very good. I would suggest getting one of the free smartphone light meter apps.

Ricoh KS Super II 35mm SLR camera will not advance film and the shutter will not work. i love this camera and hate to throw it away. can i get it fixed somewhere and how much will it cost?

If the batterys are ok ,try rotating the speed control to X and the mirror will unlock from its upper position and the film will advance next time you try. Also the camera will not operate unless the leaver is moved away from its rest position, ie level with the camera body to its first movement area.

Can the 35mm SLR Ricoh Kr-5 Super II camera still work with the batteries dead?

Straightforward answer: no. Everything needs power to work except for the self timer, but even that won't fire the shutter without battery power.

I don't know how to open the camera to put my film in...

Press the shutter release button to ensure that the shutter is released, then pull up the film rewind knob until the back pops open.

If you need a manual, you can download a PDF one from http://www.butkus.org/chinon/ricoh.htm

I have a ricoh kr5 and when i take picture the mirror does not come back down and the shutter will not open

The batteries need replacing. Winding the film and setting the shutter is mechanical on your camera, but releasing the shutter is done electronically. Dead batteries cause mirror lock-up.

Sears ks super camera.

You'll have to remove the bottom cover. Either the mirror box or the shutter are stuck. re-cocking it is possible by moving the wind stop clear of the bottom portion of the film advance shaft.

Ricoh KR-5 SUPER II Shutter will not activate.

I doubt you still need help with this considering it's over 8 months later... but the same thing has been happening to me lately, I've had to force the self timer to start by giving it a little push, once it gets going it starts to work normally again.
