My problen is that my web cam dosnt run, look as if the sistem dosnt find it.

Hello,
Please install the driver that you can download from here
http://download.cnet.com/Acer-Crystal-Eye-webcam/3000-2108_4-188685.html
Restart the computer.
Now you can test with a chat app, like yahoo, skype etc
Your camera should work fine.

Where can i get an installation
download the drivers directly via the lifecam web site......save them before you run them and ensure to burn them to a disc so this dosnt happen to you again. Best of luck

Is you web cam works on that pc before?
if not update the Usb to 2.0
if yes go to safe mode removed any device with yellow exclamation mark under the Usb port in device mngr restart in normal mode and try again also remember to try different port and diff cable, you never know the cable might be damage..

Acer aspire 4530 - crystal eye problem
  • Hi has the webcam ever worked? If so what happened to stop it working? The webcam on Acer notebooks is part of their Vista software so if you uninstalled by accident you would need to reinstall the application that runs it aswell. Acer notebooks have a useful utility called Acer Erecovery Management which you can use to reinstall. Goto Start, All Programs, Acer Empowering Technology Acer Erecovery Management.
