Porblem with my recently purchased nes

It is a power problem and the troubleshooting should start from the electrical socket where the adaptor is plugged.Plug an equipment in the same socket to confirm if power is present.If there's power,the 12volts AC adaptor may be faulty.

The adaptor SHOULD work, seeing as European SNES's use the same voltage. If you use an adaptor with a different voltage, you might need a transformer or voltage converter.

Well yes or the outlit thats its plugged into might not be working right and its not getting enough power to work right then.

Search for the power supply model number NES-002. You can find several stores online that sell reproductions as well as several that sell used. A search of " nes-002 ac adapter" on Amazon returned several options.

72 pin game cart adaptor needs replacing. they can be purchased for around £10 and make it work like nes

Have you checked your power adaptor if it has become faulty. some time the plug end maybe faulty or the unit. leave it on for an hourand feel if the unit is worm some times this indecate if it is working and it may be a cable issue. Courtesy of Nintendo Repair Shop, try this site out I heard they are pretty reliable. Sounds to me like a new connector is in order for your NES. They tend to go after a while and the connections get worn out. Here is the link:

try all the outlets in your house if it still does that you might need a new ac ac adapter.

well the old and newer sega gennsis have diffrent cables, so i'd say by it its a great console

try ANOTHER WALL SOCKET THAT YOU KnOW IS WORKING iF IT DOESENT WORK THEN BUY A NEW AC POWER ADAPTOR RADIOSHACK MAY HAVE A SIMULAR REPLACEMENT
