How to download mp3 ringtones for nokia 1280

Hello and Welcome to FixYa!

Well Nokia 1280 contains, Factory Programmed Mp3 Graded Ringtones, you can't add new mp3 ringtones to the mobile. You can compose some Midi tones using the composer provided in the mobile... No mp3 ringtone can be added to the mobile phone at user end.

Concerned.

Does Samsung C3050 phone support MP3 ringtones?

GSMArena says it does. It has a microsd slot, so you could store a lot of mp3 ringtones I'm sure.

Do you have ATT? I would guess you would either have to download them from the store or get a sync cable and software to transfer your mp3 ringtones onto it.

Downloading sounds to use as ringtones.

With most phones you cannot use regular mp3 songs as ringtones, the ringtones are a different format. There are a few sites that will allow you to take clips from a song on your computer and use them as ringtones.

Lg scoop phone AX260 need help transfering mp3 from computer to ringtones

There actually IS a way to use your own MP3s as ringtones. You will need Web Access from Alltel, which costs $1.99 per day or $5.99 for a month. I put up a step-by-step guide to successfully using MP3s as ringtones on my blog: http://blog.edirectories.info/2008/09/add-mp3-ringtones-scoop-ax260/

Cannot delete ringtones

HI Below is the step by step method of how to delete your ringtones in your Motorola V3: Here is an easier way to delete the ringtones without much hassle. 1) Upload 1 mp3 rintone to your phone via MPT 2) Set ALL ringtones msg, alert etc, absolutely everything for all styles (obviously excl. silent & vibe) to the uploaded MP3 3) switch your phone off, then on again. This will update the .db files. 4) Using P2K, delete all the rintones, except for the MP3 that you uploaded, do not delete the .db files. Also, do not delete the .bas files as these are the base files for Motomixer. Set all reminders to OFF. do not EVER delete a ringtone that is currently in use by the phone. If you delete it while it is active, You will NOT be able to get into that particular tone setting. 5) Switch your phone off, then on again.
