Question about Speed Queen AWS45NW Top Load Washer

Speed queen top loader. Machine does not drain out water, it washes, but when it comes for the water to darin out , nothing happens. it will spin, but water still does not drain out, have to dish it out with jug etc

You need to clear out the drain pump. You do this by tilting the machine back as far as you can so you can access the underneath. You will see the small drain pump. Have a basin ready to catch any water that comes out when remove the pump which is only held in by 1 or 2 screws and twisted out or pulled out. Hope this helps

There is sometimes a pause between wash and spin. This allows a little time to pump the water out before starting to spin. Do you hear the pump running between wash and spin?

make sure unit is level possibly lower front legs down so front sits higher,,, and also when u put or load in push the tub back so when the water enters it all enters into the tub sometimes the water will splash on the tube and cause a problem u are discribing hope this help

My speed queen top loader is leaking water during the washing period. Water is coming out of the bottom of the washing machine while it is washing

It is probably the pump. Run the washer with the front off of it. The pump is on the bottom of the motor.

Easy repair.

Washer will not drain after wash cycle or the spin cycle

check to see if your pump is slightly plugged with a sock or ?

Your top loader should pump out in about a minute and a half when totally full of water.

check the water pump and the center tub seal to see if it coming from one of the two if the pump is restricted the water can come over the sides of the tub
