check to make sure you have it set on the right printer by find printer... if that is okay check your ink levels and make sure they are in properly... you might also want to try restarting the printer and if none of those work you will have to try and uninstall the printer and then reinstall it....
Check under "printer and faxes" on Windows XP. In the printers list look for your printer and right click on the printer. On the little menu when appear, see if a 'Printer offline" is checked.
Click START then PRINTER AND FAXES double click your printer when the printer windows open click PRINTER uncheck USE PRINTER OFFLINE i think that the reason why you cannot print because the printer is offline
Hi go into the printer folder and check that the printer states ready not offline if it does state offline right hand click on the icon and select use printer online. If this still doesn't fix the problem then double click on the printer icon this should open the printer window where you will be able to see what is and been sent to the printer.
Click on the document heading and select restart. This should restart the printing with no problems but if it doesn't then click on the Printer heading and select cancel all documents then try printing again.
your next plan of action should be to let the printer reset its self. Unplug the printer for a few minutes then plug it back in. Turn printer on and try to print something. If this does not work then what i would do is use add remove programs and remove the software and drivers for the printer and re install them again. Read and use the manufactures recomended way of installing your new printer. Start off with printer unplugged and usb unplugged then begin as if you bought it brand new. I cant stress enough how important following the manufactures instructions are.
