Hi, my Panasonic TX L37G10 B (6 montha old) has developed an annoying fault. When watching it, the screen will go off (accompanied by a clicking sound) then the green light will flicker until it comes back on again. There is no pattern to this; it may happen 5 times in one night or go for days without happening. Any ideas??? Jamie

Sounds like The main power supply regulator section circuit fault. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts.

It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.
Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device; [Exclude the model number], in the "Search box at the top right of the display window of the Homepage" to get gathered related posts.

SOURCE: Tv Wont Turn On

Thank you, after submitting my original post I went ahead and changed the fuse. That did solve the problem. The thing that really frustrated me was how inaccessible the fuse was. It seemed as if it was intentionally done so, so the consumer would need to take it in to get it changed. It would have been so easy to make the small access door a little bigger.

SOURCE: Sony KV-24LS35U green light flashing 11 times

The Sony error codes go up to 7, so when the standby light flashes 11 times it usually means that one of the clock or data lines deep inside the set is shorted to ground. This is not fixable from the front or through the remote, so the set should be serviced by a qualified tech familiar with Sony sets.

The first thing in this unit is to check the ribbon cable that goes from the front control panel to the back ssb board, I would unplug and replug to make sure seated properly. Then try it again. There are alot of screws to take out but worth it if this solves the problem.

Panasonic tx-55as650b TV red led flashes once repeatedly - inverter circuit?

Hi Jimbo, generally this issue is from defective LED lamps, the inverter is shutting down because of over current because of shorted LED's. All the main board knows (the board that issues the error codes) is the inverter shut down, it has no way of knowing why.

ANOTHER WAY TO GET THIS FAULT IS WORN OR DAMAGED RIBBON/PLASTIC GOING FROM THE SCREEN MATRIX TO THE INVERTER

GOOD LUCK IN RECTIFYING THE FAULT, THANKS

Hi There,
Try restore the tv to factory state. It could be a burn in from a tv station you always watch eg. Some lcd will have a non burn in function, What that means simply is if you watch mtv all the time it will leave the mtv sign in the corner as its burned into the tv. Depends on how old the tv is restore and see what happens from there, other than that get an engineer or replace it if its still under warrenty....Hope this helps
