My crt moniter not desplay color properly - LG Studioworks 700S 17" CRT Monitor

Check the signal cable

this is bios problem,either switch problem.

One or two of your color guns are failing. On a CRT, there are three color guns, Red, Green, Blue. They work together to produce all colors in the spectrum. If the monitor goes all one color, it generally means at least one color gun is failing. The cost to repair far exceeds the value of the monitor or the price of a new LCD panel.

The monitor needs to be repaired. The cost of the repair maybe too high. I suggest you get a quote first or gjust et a new LCD monitor.
Do not try to fix it yourself because there are high voltages inside these CRT monitors unless you understand display electronics and the dangers etc.

The video driver may have reverted to a standard VGA driver or your
video driver has stop working and needs reinstalling.

Either cable contacts inside your monitor is not proper or the data cable is faulty. Monitor repair is required.

Some circutes are not working properley so please go to your nearest service center otherwise call to the moniter service center

first thing it is not necessary to replace eht when there is no raster.

• you please go as per procedure.
• check output from power supply
• if is ok check horizontal section
• if it is ok or eht ok then check for heater glowing
• check video output supply & print open
• check g2 voltage on crt base.
• check crt base for loose.
• check for signal coming to video output ckt.
• for ckt you can refer modern color monitor ckts volume 1&2.

Hi, is this a CRT monitor? If so get rid of it, there are 3 color beam projectors in the back of the tube if one goes out of commision all color changes and is not worth fixing, second hand CRT monitors are cheap so get one ASAP. Goodluck mistyman
