If you have the time you might just want to measure them with a cap tester. It is not uncommon for a bad capacitor to look beautifully new.

Have you looked at the DM board fix yet that's available here. http://www.fixya.com/howto/h154057-mitsubishi_dm_board_repair Check it out. If the inside of your TV set does not look like this, you will need to get the service manual to disassemble the set and get to the DM board, but use the rest of the guide to repair the board. If you are successful, you will save almost a 1000 bucks! Good Luck

SOURCE: mitsubishi WS-55513 won't turn on

Two choices =
1) Replace DM MODULE. 650.00 is right.

2) Rebuild DM MODULE. Done right = a little less than Mits.
Caution: High degree of skill needed and ask about warranty
in either choice.Rebuilds usually cover only parts installed,
not complete module. If you do the research on repair, you
will find pin push reset does not work,in most cases....T.

SOURCE: constant green blinking light Mitsubishi tv WS-65513

Hello all. I have fixed my green blinking light problem on my Mit. 65513 rear project. hdtv. It is on now as I'm writing. I replaced 4 capacitors on the DM board (largest vertical standing board). I used a desolder tool from RS($15).I practiced on a discarded board first. I replaced the caps with 4 radial capacitors rated 1000uf 16v. 105 degrees c and was sure to match the polarity markings on the board(+/-)with the markings on the capacitors. That's it! I also installed a small 12v PC fan(wired to a 12v wall adapter) on the DM module casing with zip ties. You may also use 1000uf 25v 105c caps. I hope this helps-good luck!

You are probably talking about the FMT board. I think you can have this board repaired at PTS 18008447871

Mitsubishi WS-65513 65' The red keeps going out

It could be a loose component video cable, check your TV menu or another device when it goes out. If you have red in the menu or other device, it cannot be your CRT. The Crt is somewhat hard to replace but if everything goes great it isn't too bad. I usually mark all the yokes and magnets with a marker so I can put them right back in the same place and the picture should be about the same. Sometimes you need to do a lot of adjustment and that is when it can get tricky, kind of depends on how "identical" the new CRT is to your old one.

Let me know how I can help
