If the 10s digit is 5 or above (5, 6, 7, 8, 9) you must round up by increasing the hundreds digits by 1. Your result will look like ...(h+1)00 For thousands

If the hundreds digits to its right is less than 5, replace it and the digits following it by 0. Your result will look like ...t000.
If the hundreds digit is 5 or higher, increase the thousands digits by 1 and replace the hundreds, tens, and units digits by 0. You result will end with (t+1) 000
Note if (h+1) or (t+1) give you 10, put a zero at their positions and increase the digit to the left by 1.
